Any person trying to catch fish. Generally the fish is caught from the free pond of the river. Fishing, fishing, spear, netting, trap, rods and boats etc. are used for fishing purposes or fishing. He who fishes is known as a fish hunter.

According to World Food Agency statistics, approximately 38 million people in the world are engaged in commercial fishermen and fisheries occupations. Apart from this, more than 500 million people are involved directly and indirectly in this profession. [1] In 2005, 14.4 kg of fish was collected from the open ground water from the open water body area. Apart from this, additional 4.3 kilograms of fish were collected through the cultivation of aquifers. [2] In modern times, fishery victims, along with significant food preservation, are considered as one of the leading means of retirement during leisure time.
